Open Castles — Castello Sella of Vinzaglio

In 2025, the Castello Sella of Vinzaglio, in the Novara area, confirmed its participation in the regional Open Castles of Lower Piedmont festival, an initiative that opens castles and historic homes in Piedmont to the public every year on weekends from spring to autumn.

As per tradition, visits were held by reservation and allowed guests to discover the noble quarters of the residence, the service buildings, and the gardens, accompanied by the current owner, a restorer of the estate. The thousand-year history of the castle — from the medieval fortress to the Renaissance palace and the 19th-century restoration by the Sella family — served as the common thread of the experience.
