Edition 2025 — Gold Hunters

In 2025, 'On the Trail of the Gold Hunters' enlivened the hiking season in Casaleggio Boiro with numerous events, from May until the final ones on October 5th and 12th. The guided tours took participants to the gold mines and auriferous deposits of the Laghi della Lavagnina, in the Capanne di Marcarolo Park, including gold-panning demonstrations in the streams.

The 2025 edition

The 2025 season of On the Trail of the Gold Hunters in Casaleggio Boiro (AL) offered a long series of guided excursions to the gold mines of the Laghi della Lavagnina, with the final appointments on October 5th and 12th. Each outing, departing at 9:00 AM from Casaleggio Boiro, followed the approximately 7 km loop with a +207 m elevation gain to the M1 and M13 tunnels, concluding in the early afternoon.

In 2025, participants were also able to try gold-panning demonstrations along the streams and discover the mining history of the Capanne di Marcarolo Park, with participation fees ranging from 25 to 35 euros.
