Edition 2025 — Ombre Festival

The sixth edition of Ombre Festival took place from July 19 to 27, 2025, between Viterbo and Tuscania, with over ninety free events including meetings, debates, and shows. The theme, inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini fifty years after his death, gave life to the special section 'Pasolini is alive', dedicated to his voice and intellectual courage.

The 2025 edition of Ombre Festival, the sixth, enlivened the squares of Viterbo—Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza del Gesù, and Piazza San Lorenzo—and the Largo Torre di Lavello in Tuscania from July 19 to 27, with over ninety free-admission events.

The central theme was inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini, on the fiftieth anniversary of his passing, starting from the famous phrase 'I know. But I don't have the proof': a special section titled 'Pasolini is alive' retraced his voice, ideas, and intellectual courage. Guests included Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, singer-songwriter Ermal Meta, journalist Federica Angeli, trade unionist Felice Romano, and European Parliament Vice-President Antonella Sberna, in a continuous dialogue between justice, culture, and civil society.
