Ombre Festival (Tuscania leg)

In 2025, Ombre Festival celebrated its sixth edition, expanding for the first time beyond Viterbo: the Municipality of Tuscania joined the festival circuit with events hosted at Largo Torre di Lavello. The cultural journey wound through Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza del Gesù, and Piazza San Lorenzo in Viterbo, as well as the medieval setting of Tuscania, for over ninety events in total.

The theme of the edition was inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini's famous phrase 'I know. But I have no proof,' with a special section, Pasolini è vivo, dedicated to the intellectual fifty years after his passing. Guests included Minister Matteo Piantedosi, Mario Giordano, Federica Angeli, Chiara Francini, Massimo Wertmuller, and Franco Gabrielli; the grand finale took place on August 5 in Viterbo with a concert by Ermal Meta in front of over a thousand people. All events were free to attend.
