Edition 2025 — Olive Oil Festival

The 5th edition of the Civitaquana Olive Oil Festival took place over the weekend of November 14-16, 2025, in the center of the Pescara village. Three days dedicated to local extra virgin olive oil with tastings, sensory workshops, musical performances, stalls featuring local products, exhibitions, and talks on the history of Abruzzese olive growing, confirming the growth of an event now firmly rooted in the autumn calendar of the Abruzzo hinterland.

Olive Oil Festival 2025, the fifth edition

The fifth edition of the Olive Oil Festival in Civitaquana was held over the weekend of November 14-16, 2025, enlivening the center of the village in the Province of Pescara. Organized by APS Civitas Aquana, the event featured tastings of local extra virgin olive oil, sensory workshops, musical performances, and stalls offering local products and handicrafts.

There was no shortage of meetings and exhibitions dedicated to the history of Abruzzese olive growing, with the aim of promoting short-supply-chain production and the village's historical heritage, including traditional mills and ancient palaces. The 2025 edition, spread over three days, marked a further step in the growth of an event created to celebrate the rural and olive-growing identity of Civitaquana.
