Edition 2025 — Olive Oil and Olive Festival
The 2025 edition of the Olive Oil and Olive Festival in Piano del Quercione was held every weekend in June, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, at the Ex Zoo-Parco area in the hamlet of Massarosa (LU). Every evening, from 7:30 PM, the Misericordia Brotherhood stalls served home-style cooking seasoned with local extra virgin olive oil, with the famous tagliarini with beans and salt cod among the most requested specialties.
The evenings were enlivened by live music with ballroom and Latin dance orchestras and the traditional tombola with prizes, in an atmosphere of an authentic Tuscan village festival. The large free parking lot facilitated the arrival of numerous visitors from Versilia and the Lucca plain.
