The 40th edition of the Olive Festival

From October 10 to 12, 2025, Sannicandro di Bari celebrated the fortieth anniversary of its Olive Festival, organized by ARCI Sannicandro. The historic center and the Norman-Swabian Castle hosted three days dedicated to the Oliva Termite, featuring tastings, traditional gastronomy, and an intense musical program.

On Friday, the inauguration was accompanied by the conference "Olive Oil Tourism" at the Castle Stables and a DJ set by DJ Jad and Wlady in Piazza Castello. On Saturday, highlights included the "Sport, Smiles and Solidarity" event, the opening of the Panel Room at the castle, a Rolling Stones tribute by The Brown Sugar, and a show by Renato Ciardo. On Sunday, the educational lunch on "Traditional Gastronomy, Sweet Olives and Extra Virgin Olive Oil" took place, followed by the grand finale with a concert by the legendary PFM - Premiata Forneria Marconi. A free shuttle service connected the guarded parking lot to the historic center throughout the evenings.
