Edition 2025 — Olive Festival

On November 8 and 9, 2025, Finale di Pollina hosted the 49th edition of the Olive Festival, from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Two days dedicated to oil and Madonie rural traditions, featuring the historic equestrian parade, Sicilian carts, costumed folk groups, the election of Miss Contadinella and Mister Contadino, and the gifting of olive saplings to newborns. There were rich tastings of 'pasta alla finalara', bread and oil, olives, and typical local products.

The 49th Olive Festival

The 2025 edition of the Olive Festival took place on Saturday, November 8, and Sunday, November 9, in Finale di Pollina, in the province of Palermo, from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The 49th edition featured all the most beloved events of the festival: the equestrian parade along the village streets, the Sicilian carts, folk groups with traditional songs and dances, the photography exhibition, and the evocative gifting of olive saplings to children born during the year.

For the little ones, an excursion was organized in the Serradaino woods with a snack of bread, oil, and olives, while the food stalls offered 'pasta alla finalara', bread drizzled with new oil, olives, and traditional Madonie sweets. The festival attracted thousands of visitors from Palermo and the entire Madonie area.
