Edition 2025 — Olive and Olive Oil Festival

In 2025, the Olive and Olive Oil Festival once again brought Nicosia to life during the autumn season, celebrating the new Colline Ennesi PDO extra virgin olive oil. Organized by the local FIDAPA, the event featured tastings of olive oil on homemade bread and 'pane cunzato' in Piazza Garibaldi and Via Fratelli Testa, along with stalls of local products, crafts, culinary workshops, and folk music and dancing, confirming its status as a staple of the Nicosia calendar.

The 2025 edition in Nicosia

In 2025, the Olive and Olive Oil Festival renewed its traditional autumn appointment in the Municipality of Nicosia, in the province of Enna. Promoted by the local FIDAPA, the festival celebrated the new extra virgin oil from the Colline Ennesi PDO.

Between Piazza Garibaldi and Via Fratelli Testa, the stalls offered tastings of oil from local producers on crostini and pane cunzato, sales of local products, sweets, and olive oil-based cosmetics, as well as culinary workshops, exhibitions of rural farming tools, and performances of folk music and dance, in a festive atmosphere that drew visitors from across the Erei region.
