The exhibition "Of Beauty" is a contemporary art exhibition set up in the former Church of San Rocco, in Via Monache, in the historic center of Este, in the province of Padua. The deconsecrated space, with its strong architectural charm, hosts the works of a group of local artists.
The artists
The exhibition brings together the works of Luciano Bonaccorso, Maria Rita Catalano, Ivana Ceresa, Renzo Fortin, Bianca Susy Piva, Eros Rizzo, Barbara Scarparolo, and Sonia Strukul, the latter also curator of the project.
The theme
The exhibition path investigates "what remains of beauty in a time that has ceased to recognize it as the sole model", presenting beauty not as a fixed canon but as a mobile territory, crossed by subjective perceptions, fractures, and possibilities. An invitation to reflection, with free admission, hosted in one of the most characteristic art venues in the city of Este.
'Of Beauty' Exhibition — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the "Of Beauty" exhibition takes place from April 25 to May 10 in the former Church of San Rocco, Via Monache 5, in Este. The group show, sponsored by the Municipality of Este, the Province of Padua, and Pro Loco Este, brings together eight local artists.
