October Fair - Mushroom, Chestnut and Scorzone Truffle Exhibition

The 17th edition of the October Fair took place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in the historic center of Castiglione di Garfagnana, in the province of Lucca.

The day featured, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, stalls from agricultural producers and artisans along the village streets, a mycological exhibition displaying local mushroom species, and thematic and photographic exhibits. Starting at 12:30 PM, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, the traditional lunch was held with a menu based on chestnut flour, porcini mushrooms, scorzone truffles, mondine, and necci, followed in the afternoon by entertainment and live music.

The event was organized by the Pro Loco Castiglione di Garfagnana APS in collaboration with local associations, with free admission.
