Edition 2025 — Occitan Festival of Olivetta San Michele

In the summer of 2025, Olivetta San Michele celebrated the Festa Occitana with an evening of traditional music and dances and specialties of Occitan cuisine, confirming an event that enhances the cultural identity of these border lands between Italy and France.

The 2025 edition confirmed the tradition of the Festa Occitana in Olivetta San Michele, in the far west of Liguria. The evening celebrated Occitan culture with live music, traditional instruments - accordion, bagpipes, winds, violin - and folk dances of the balfolk.

Accompanying the festival, Occitan cuisine with its specialties, in an evening that combined conviviality and rediscovery of the cultural roots of these border lands, preparing for the twentieth edition in 2026.

The festival took place in the evening with traditional Occitan music and dances (accordion, bagpipes, winds, violin) and dinner with specialties of Occitan cuisine.
