Edition 2025 — Sant Joan at Roccerè

In 2025, the ascent to Roccerè for Sant Joan took place on Sunday, June 22, starting at 1:30 PM from Sant'Anna di Roccabruna. The climb, covering about one hour and 550 meters of elevation gain, was accompanied by the bagpipes of the Superbandia, an ensemble that highlights the bagpipes of the Occitan lands, including the 'bodega'. The day concluded in the evening, at 9:00 PM, with the traditional St. John's bonfire at the Roccerè archaeological site, amidst songs and dances around the solstice fire. Free admission.

The 2025 edition was held on Sunday, June 22, with a meeting and departure at 1:30 PM from Sant'Anna di Roccabruna, above the town of Roccabruna in Valle Maira (province of Cuneo, Piedmont). The ascent, about an hour's walk with 550 meters of elevation gain, was accompanied by the bagpipes of the Superbandia, an ensemble dedicated to the bagpipes of the Occitan lands, including the 'bodega'.

In the evening, at 9:00 PM, the traditional St. John's bonfire took place at the Roccerè archaeological site, with songs and dances around the solstice fire. The local Pro Loco also offered a polenta meal by reservation. All events were free of charge.
