Nutida – Contemporary Dance Festival

Nutida 2025 – 6th edition

The sixth edition of Nutida was held from June 13 to July 4, 2025, in the Pomario Garden of Castello dell'Acciaiolo in Scandicci, with performances at the hour preceding sunset. The program brought together 35 titles, 30 new creations (22 premieres and 8 previews) for a total of 41 performances over 17 days, with 73 dancers on stage, 26 of whom were under 25.

Under the direction of Cristina Bozzolini and Saverio Cona, the festival showcased established choreographers such as Diego Tortelli, Francesca Foscarini, Claudia Catarzi, Simona Bertozzi, and Lali Ayguadé alongside emerging young talents including Pablo Girolami and Roberto Tedesco, confirming Nutida's vocation for discovering the new generations of contemporary dance.
