Edition 2025 — 'Nto Menzu a Na Strada

From July 25 to 27, 2025, the third edition of 'Nto Menzu a Na Strada transformed the hillside village of Cannistrà, in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, into an open-air laboratory for cultural regeneration. Featuring artist residencies, new murals, live concerts, and markets, the festival combined contemporary art with the Sicilian rural landscape, under the artistic direction of Andrea Sposari and the patronage of the Municipality.

'Nto Menzu a Na Strada vol. 3 — July 25-27, 2025

The third edition took place in Cannistrà, a hamlet of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, under the artistic direction of Andrea Sposari and organized by the Associazione Culturale Cannistrà, with the patronage of the Municipality.

Artist residencies: four artists — Martina Biolo, Francesco Pacelli, Martina Cioffi, and Marco Emmy — lived in the village for two weeks, creating site-specific works using clay and natural local materials (coordinated by Collettivo Flock and Alessio Barchitta).

Murals and street art: new works by Ligama, Loste, John Blond, Carlo Alberto Giardina, Vincenzo Suscetta, No One On Walls, and Piede che Fuma.

Music (curated by Mish Mash Festival): Chris Obehi, Sudcantica, Kyma, belobeat, and Prima o Poi music.

The program was enriched by a vintage market, local radio broadcasts with Radio Studio 5, participatory theater with Espressivamente, and collaborations with Urban Street Art Sicily and Radica Festival. Free admission.
