Novena and Solemnity of the Apparition — Sanctuary of Caravaggio

The 2025 edition of the Solemnity of the Apparition, for the 593rd anniversary, confirmed the extraordinary scope of the Marian event in Caravaggio. The Novena from May 17th to 25th marked nine days of masses, rosaries, and prayers, culminating on May 26th in the Pontifical Mass with plenary indulgence, the Memory of the Apparition, the sprinkling of the faithful with water from the Sacred Font, and the evocative evening Torchlight Rosary. Thousands of pilgrims visited the Sanctuary of Saint Mary of the Font, in the Bassa Bergamasca, for one of the most heartfelt religious events in Lombardy.
