Edition 2025 — Novello al Castello

The 18th edition of Novello al Castello took place on Friday, November 7, and Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the historic center of Catignano. Two evenings, with stalls opening at 7:00 PM, dedicated to new wine, Abruzzese gastronomy, and live music, featuring fifteen food points distributed throughout the village, street performers, and a rich lineup of bands and DJ sets.

The 18th edition of Novello al Castello was held on November 7 and 8, 2025, in the historic center of Catignano, organized by the Pro Loco of Catignano APS with the patronage of the Municipality. For two evenings, with stalls opening at 7:00 PM, the village offered fifteen food points with arrosticini, sausage, porchetta, calzoni, fried pizzas, bruschetta, sagne e fagioli, chestnuts, cheeses, desserts, mulled wine, and artisanal liqueurs, in addition to new wine by the glass or bottle in all the cellars.

The musical program featured performances by, among others, Danilo Di Giampaolo, I Musicanti, Rockin' Riot, Monkie Tango, and Syn Circus on Friday, and Dalyrium Bay, Zinharua, Ukus in Fabula, and Wunder Tandem on Saturday, accompanied by DJ sets and street performers. Admission was free, with a token system at the cash desks; a shuttle service from Pescara and Chieti was available on Saturday.

Programme

Friday, November 7, 2025: cellars and stalls open from 7:00 PM, with Danilo Di Giampaolo, I Musicanti, Rockin' Riot, Monkie Tango, Syn Circus, Low Max, and Nunzio Karaoke. Saturday, November 8, 2025: Dalyrium Bay, Zinharua, Ukus in Fabula, Wunder Tandem, HITAKABUM, and Dj Daniel Jamaica, with street performers. Shuttle service on Saturday from Pescara (Station, 8:00 PM) and Chieti (8:30 PM), return at 2:00 AM, cost 15 euros round trip.
