Edition 2025 — Notti Medievali
10th edition — The Tenth Anniversary
The tenth edition of Notti Medievali was held on May 31 and June 1, 2025, at the Santa Maria di Cesano complex in Terlizzi, in the province of Bari. An important milestone for one of the most popular historical re-enactments in Southern Italy.
The 2025 edition introduced several new features: an area with ancient rides made of natural materials, designed to welcome children and families, a station dedicated to sericulture, and an evocative scale reconstruction of the Bayeux Tapestry. As per tradition, the abbey complex came alive with scenes of daily life, theatrical shows, early music, artisan workshops, encampments, and costume parades, creating an authentic medieval experience.
The event was organized by APS Torre Normanna, with artistic direction by Michele Amendolagine and theatrical direction by Gianluca delle Fontane, and the patronage of the Municipality of Terlizzi, the Bari Chamber of Commerce, and the Fondazione Puglia.
