Notti dei Giganti di Carta

The 2025 edition of the Notti dei Giganti di Carta took place on July 2 and 3 in the historic center of Putignano, bringing the spirit of the city's Carnival back to the summer. The heart of the two-day event was "Il Borgo Animato", which transformed squares and alleys into a widespread path of shows and flavors.

Among the artists present were Christian Lisco and Glass Eye, accompanied by jugglers and contortionists. In Piazza Santa Maria La Greca, the group Itinerari e Sentieri guided the audience in rediscovering folk dances with "Il Ballo di San Vito", featuring marathons of pizzica, tamurriata, the sounds of Bouble Soufflé, and Nigerian percussion. In Piazza Plebiscito, there was space for DJ sets with ska, balkan, and reggae rhythms.

The event, promoted by the Associazione Trullando with the patronage of the Municipality of Putignano, the Province of Bari, and the Puglia Region, combined folklore, craftsmanship, and gastronomy over two evenings dedicated to Murgia traditions.

• Street performers: Christian Lisco, Glass Eye, jugglers, and contortionists in the alleys of the old town.
• Piazza Santa Maria La Greca: Itinerari e Sentieri group with "Il Ballo di San Vito" — marathons of pizzica and tamurriata, Bouble Soufflé sounds, and Nigerian percussion.
• Piazza Plebiscito: DJ sets with ska, balkan, and reggae sounds.
• Along the city streets: art and craft exhibitions and stalls with Apulian food specialties.
