Edition 2025 — Notte Pamphilia

During the summer of 2025, the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj Museum in Valmontone once again offered its evening openings with free guided tours between July and August. The Notte Pamphilia formula, now a recurring feature of the municipal summer program, allowed visitors to discover the baroque frescoes of the Rooms of the Elements and the Continents and the museum's archaeological section after sunset.

Notte Pamphilia in the summer of 2025

In 2025, Notte Pamphilia confirmed itself as one of the cultural highlights of the Valmontone summer: extraordinary evening openings of the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj Museum, with free guided tours conducted by museum staff during the evening hours between July and August.

The tour covered the usual frescoed halls of the piano nobile — the 17th-century cycle of the Elements and the Continents created under the direction of Pier Francesco Mola with Mattia Preti, Francesco Cozza, and Guglielmo Cortese — as well as the Salone del Principe and the territory's archaeological section. An opportunity to experience the iconic monument of the Municipality of Valmontone, in the Lazio region, in a nocturnal and intimate atmosphere, far from the heat and crowds of the daytime hours.
