Notte di San Giovanni

The 30th edition of the Notte di San Giovanni celebrated an important milestone for Ostuni's most iconic festival, spanning two evenings, June 21 and 22, 2025. The chosen theme, "Fragility of nature, power of the ritual," offered a reflection on the environmental crisis and the value of ancient knowledge linked to the solstice.

The historic center of the White City was transformed into a shared space of visions and encounters, featuring art installations, fire shows, circus performances, concerts, and traditional rituals. Emblematic was the work "+2°" by artist Anna Scalfi Eghenter, inaugurated on June 22 in Viale Oronzo Quaranta: a metal staircase as high as the hypothetical sea-level rise in the event of a +2°C increase in global temperatures. Closing the edition on Sunday, June 22, in Piazza della Libertà, was the concert by Renzo Rubino & La Sbanda. The event was organized by Puglia Culture with the support of the Municipality of Ostuni.
