Notte d'Incanto 2025: the first edition

The first edition of Notte d'Incanto was held on August 9, 2025, in Capistrello, to mark the 163rd anniversary of the start of the Lake Fucino drainage (August 9, 1862). The event was a complete sell-out, enchanting participants under the stars.

Divided into groups of up to 20 people with departures every half hour between 9:00 PM and midnight, visitors traversed the Emissario trail in the dark, accompanied by the sound of the Liri river. Along the path, performances were held by the Maxima Entropia ensemble, flutists Alessandro Rondinara and Alessia Salustri, cellist Rebecca Rotondi, and the Abel Saxophone Quartet, while astronomer Alessandro Curitti guided the stargazing session. The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Capistrello with the contribution of the Fondazione Carispaq, featured the collaboration of civil protection volunteers and local producers and artisans.
