The sixth edition of the Nostalgia Film Festival was held in autumn 2025 between Rome and Naples, confirming the festival's commitment to independent Iranian cinema. The program featured sections dedicated to short films and documentaries, with a jury awarding the event's main honors.

Nostalgia Film Festival 2025 - 6th Edition

The sixth edition once again brought a selection of feature films, documentaries, and short films dedicated to Iran and its independent cinema to Rome and Naples. The jury—composed of, among others, Antonio De Matteo, Daniel Kemeny, and Tania Scalercio—awarded the prizes for the competitive sections, with winning works such as Holy Water, Stone Roof, and The Paper Bag. Faithful to its mission, the event offered the public in Lazio and Campania an authentic look at Iranian society through the language of cinema.
