Nordic Week

The inaugural edition of the Nordic Week transformed Tolfa into a crossroads of Scandinavian art and culture from October 17 to 26, 2025. The calendar featured art and photography exhibitions, Sami craft and Nordic design displays, film screenings, workshops for children and schools, meetings on sustainability and Nordic literature, as well as music, installations, and cultural dinners.

Highlights included: the solo exhibition of Norwegian painter Sigrun Hellerud open from October 19, the Catana Day on Monday, October 20, with demonstrations and workshops dedicated to the Tolfetana handcrafted bag, followed by the conference 'Tolfa and Norway — 30 years of relations' at the Italo-Norwegian Study Centre, and the grand finale on Sunday, October 26, with the closing of Tove Hellerud's exhibition and musical performances by Hacking Wagner. Events were held at the Cultural Hub, Capuchin Convent, Palazzo Buttaoni, Palazzaccio, Civic Museum, and Claudio Theater, with the support of the Municipality of Tolfa, the Pro Loco, and the Norwegian Embassy.
