Nordic Uphill 2025: the eighteenth edition
The 18th edition of the Nordic Uphill Burgstall-Vöran took place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, organized by ASV Vöran Raiffeisen. As per tradition, competitors tackled the climb with trekking poles from the Postal (Burgstall) valley station up to the Vöran (Vöran) village square, on the Salten plateau, in the province of Bolzano.
The competitive Race category featured the classic 4.65 km with 925 meters of elevation gain and an average gradient of 20%, while the Just for Fun event allowed walkers and Nordic walking enthusiasts to ascend without a stopwatch. There were also Kids races, with distances ranging from 200 to 1300 meters, which enlivened the day by involving families. The event confirmed its role as the ideal conclusion to the mountain running season in the Burggrafenamt.
