Nonna Roma Grand Food Drive

The February 2025 collection

In 2025, the Nonna Roma Grand Food Drive took place on Saturday, February 15, in the middle of winter, the period when the demand for food aid in the Capital reaches its peak. On this occasion too, the association set up collection points in supermarkets across various Roman neighborhoods, with an appeal to citizens to donate long-life food and essential products.

The call for volunteers, spread in the preceding weeks through the association's channels and the Lazio volunteering network, highlighted the growth in support requests recorded the previous year, which had increased by about 50%. The proceeds of the day went into the solidarity pantries and food parcels distributed to the families supported by Nonna Roma in the following months.
