Nonantola Film Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Nonantola Film Festival, in Nonantola in the province of Modena, offered an increasingly rich program of independent cinema at the Cinema Teatro Massimo Troisi, featuring first and second works by Italian and international directors.

The "4 Giorni Corti" challenge was a major highlight, reaching a record of 101 registrations and 47 submitted short films. The finalist shorts, which could be voted on online and in theaters, were awarded at the closing Gala on May 10 with cash prizes (€1500, €500, and €250) and special mentions, including the award named after videomaker Nicolò Gianelli. Admission to all screenings was also free and open to the public that year.
