Edition 2025 — Noicattaro Holy Week

In 2025, the Noicattaro Holy Week took place in Noicattaro from Thursday, April 17 to Saturday, April 19. The three days of rites showcased the town's centuries-old traditions: hooded crociferi with crosses and chains, the Good Friday Naca Procession with the effigy of the Dead Christ, and the Holy Saturday Procession of the Mysteries, concluding with the Easter Vigil.

Noicattaro Holy Week 2025

The 2025 edition of the Noicattaro Easter rites opened on Holy Thursday, April 17, with the bonfire of the Passion Confraternity at Largo Sant'Agostino and the departure of the crociferi who, hooded and barefoot, walked through the streets of the historic center dragging chains and visiting the altars of repose of the seven churches.

Good Friday, April 18, represented the heart of the rites, with the Naca Procession and the effigy of the Dead Christ laid in the gilded wooden canopy, followed in the night by the Procession of Our Lady of Sorrows. On Holy Saturday, April 19, the long Procession of the Mysteries from Largo Sant'Agostino crossed the town with the effigies of the Passion, closing the Holy Week before the Easter Vigil.
