Noccianese Week and Saint Lawrence Feast

The 2025 Noccianese Week

In 2025, the community of Nocciano, in the province of Pescara, gathered once again around its patron saint Saint Lawrence for the traditional Noccianese Week, which culminated on August 9th and 10th. The festivities alternated between moments of devotion, with solemn mass and the procession, and the convivial dimension of the food festival.

The stands set up in the historic center offered specialties of the Abruzzese tradition, from porchetta to sagne e fagioli, while the evenings were enlivened by music and dialect theater performances, confirming the event as one of the most deeply felt summer appointments in the Pescara hinterland.
