Edition 2025 — Nivolet Bike Day

The 2025 edition of the Nivolet Bike Day took place on Saturday, June 21, the first day of astronomical summer. The Colle del Nivolet road was closed to motor traffic and reserved for cyclists, who could choose between the climb from Ceresole Reale (approx. 38 km) and the more demanding one from Cuorgnè (approx. 56 km), up to the 2,612-meter pass.

On June 21, 2025, Ceresole Reale hosted a new edition of the Nivolet Bike Day. For the entire day, the spectacular Colle del Nivolet road remained closed to cars, left entirely to cyclists and hikers. Participants tackled the climb independently, choosing between the start from Ceresole Reale (approx. 38 km and 1,600 m starting altitude) and the long route from Cuorgnè (approx. 56 km with over 2,200 m of elevation gain). At the top, at the Rifugio Savoia, the first 150 registrants received a gadget and a refreshment voucher. The event, free and non-competitive, confirmed the great appeal of the festival, which in the previous edition had counted about 1,000 cyclists along the climb.
