43rd Niscemi Violet Artichoke Festival
The 2025 edition, the 43rd of the event, took place from April 25 to May 4 in the center of Niscemi, in the province of Caltanissetta. For over a week, the town squares transformed into a grand culinary trail dedicated to the violet artichoke, featuring numerous stalls for tasting traditional dishes and selling local products.
The festival, recognized as a Quality Festival (Sagra di Qualità) by the UNPLI, was enriched by events featuring music, fashion, folklore, and entertainment, confirming its role as Niscemi's main popular festival and a showcase for the agricultural excellence of the Caltanissetta region.
