Nikolaus and Tuifl Procession / Schellenrennen

The December 5, 2025 edition took place according to the established tradition of Lasa/Laas in the Vinschgau Valley. In the morning and afternoon, the Schellenrennen saw the village children and teenagers, with their goat bells, traverse the center following the usual route between the town hall, rectory, shops, and homes, concluding in the square around 4:00 PM. In the evening, the procession of Saint Nicholas with the Tuifl, managed by the Loosr Tuifl, brought the unsettling figures of devils in skins and wooden masks to the village streets. The event was part of the Laaser Advent program, opening the Advent season in the municipality of Lasa.
