Night of the Witches

The 2025 Night of the Witches in Marradi took place on Saturday, August 16, with the theme "Seven. The Seven Deadly Sins." From 6:00 PM until late at night, the historic center was animated by themed stations, shows, games, and the inevitable dark atmosphere that characterizes the event.

Among the protagonists of the evening were stilt walkers and fire artists, DJs from Marradi and Faenza, a children's area at the Tennis Club, and a food area with local specialties and wild boar in various preparations. The festival concluded with four fireworks displays and the final show, featuring the procession toward the traditional burning of the witch on the banks of the Lamone river.

As per tradition, competitions were held for the best themed costume, the best-decorated house and shop, and a photography contest. The event drew at least five thousand people, including residents, tourists, and visitors from nearby Romagna.
