Night of the Tambourines

The third edition of the Night of the Tambourines, on June 1st, 2025, enlivened the Area Mercatale of Monteroni di Lecce with hundreds of tambourine players who arrived from all over Italy. The event, organized by the Helios Association with the patronage of the Province of Lecce, the Presidency of the Puglia Regional Council, and the Municipality of Monteroni, offered a rich program of popular music and dance.

Among the protagonists were the Arneo Tambourine Project, the dance schools of Serena D'Amato, the Flag-wavers and Musicians of the City of Oria, as well as party moments with a disco party (Marco Rollo and Ivan Bonetti) and DJ sets (Vassa and Leone). The evening concluded with the great final 'ronda' and the concert by Alla Bua, led by master Fiore Maggiulli. There was no shortage of food stalls with Salento specialties and a gluten-free area.
