Night of the Candles

The 2025 edition of the Night of the Candles took place on the eve of Epiphany in Celle di Macra, in the Maira Valley, province of Cuneo. The route started at 6:00 PM from the Chiesa hamlet, crossing the path that leads from Grangia to Castellaro, illuminated exclusively by hundreds of candles.

Along the way, participants were able to enjoy hot drinks and panettone and immerse themselves in the enchanted atmosphere of the village, amidst readings, stories, and memories linked to the valley's Occitan tradition. As per tradition, the Befana delivered a gift to the children who had registered.

The evening concluded at 8:30 PM with an aperitif at the Cantunal, with the possibility of dinner by reservation at the La Cusino restaurant. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Seles, confirmed its charm as a winter community ritual.
