Nicola Zingarelli National Literary Award

17th edition — September 20, 2025

The seventeenth edition of the Zingarelli Award was held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Cerignola, with the gala evening hosted at Palazzo Fornari, in Piano San Rocco, starting at 8:30 PM. The ceremony combined the presentation of awards for the various sections—published fiction, unpublished poetry, and school competitions—with moments of entertainment, music, and readings.

As per tradition, winners were awarded the characteristic silver ear of wheat on a wooden base, the work of a local artist, with no cash prizes. The 2025 edition was distinguished by unprecedented institutional support: the patronage of the Ministry of University and Research, the Puglia Region, the Municipality of Cerignola, the Universities of Bari and Foggia, the Accademia della Crusca, and the Diocese of Cerignola-Ascoli Satriano, as well as the Order of Journalists and the Forensic Association of Cerignola.
