Bitrail 2025: the second edition

The second edition of the Nico Caiati Bitrail took place on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in the Municipal Woods of Bitonto, in the Il Lamione area, valid as the second stage of the Puglia Trail circuit (Bronze level). Organized by the Polisportiva Amici di Marco with the patronage of the Municipality of Bitonto, the race combined sport and nature in a highly fascinating environmental context.

The program featured two tracks: a long one of 30 km with approximately 850 meters of positive elevation gain and a shorter one of 15 km with approximately 480 meters of elevation gain, both on trails and dirt roads of medium difficulty between the Bitonto Woods and the suggestive Bosco del Ceraso. This edition consolidated the event as one of the reference appointments for Apulian trail running.
