New Year's Eve 2025-2026 in Piazza Lucia

For the second consecutive year, the Municipality of Castellabate chose Piazza Lucia, in the heart of Santa Maria, for the end-of-year party. On December 31, 2025, starting at 11:30 PM, the stage in the square hosted 'Dance Tarantella', a show that blends folk music with the energetic rhythms of dance music, accompanying the audience until the midnight countdown.

The day was opened at 12:00 PM by the Aperi New Year in Piazzetta Caduti del Mare, with music and entertainment organized by the municipal administration together with the Musicalmente Association. The festivities then continued on January 1st with the 'Happy New Year in the Village' event by the Pro Loco and the traditional New Year's Concert in the Pontifical Basilica of Santa Maria de Gulia.

Mayor Marco Rizzo emphasized the desire to imagine a New Year's Eve truly for everyone, an opportunity to gather and share the joy of the celebration, while councilor Gianmarco Rodio highlighted the value of the event for community cohesion and the promotion of the Cilento territory.
