New Year's Eve 2025 at the Circus Maximus
The evening of December 31, 2024, confirmed the format of the major free concert by Roma Capitale, starting at 9:30 PM and continuing well past the midnight toast. The lineup was built on strong contrasts: DJ and producer Gabry Ponte, the British band Culture Club led by Boy George, returning to perform in Italy after fifteen years, the historic PFM — Premiata Forneria Marconi, Orchestraccia with its reinterpretations of Roman songs, and the Orchestra Popolare La Notte della Taranta with Salento's pizzica.
The evening was accompanied by the voices of Dimensione Suono and also hosted moments dedicated to raising awareness about road safety. Access to the area was free, with five pedestrian gates around the valley and an area reserved for people with disabilities, reachable thanks to a dedicated accompaniment service.
