2025 New Year's Concert
On Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, at 6:00 PM, Piazza XX Settembre in Martina Franca hosted the New Year's Concert of the Paolo Grassi Foundation, organized with the Municipal Administration. The ICO Magna Grecia Orchestra, conducted by maestro Gianluca Marcianó, performed alongside tenors Oronzo D'Urso, Nico Franchini, and Eduardo Niave.
The program featured famous pieces from the operatic and symphonic repertoire: the Overture from Verdi's Vespri Siciliani, Una furtiva lagrima from Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, the arias Recondita armonia and E lucevan le stelle from Puccini's Tosca, as well as Viennese waltzes and polkas by Johann and Eduard Strauss and music by Rodríguez. Admission was free for this edition as well.
