Nevicando - Our Lady of the Snow Festival

The 2025 edition

In Rocca Priora, the festivities opened on Wednesday, July 30, with the triduum of preparation at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Snow: daily rosary at 5:15 PM and Eucharistic celebration at 6:00 PM, with three distinct themes dedicated to the sick, faithful love—with the renewal of wedding vows—and the call to salvation.

The climax arrived on Saturday, August 2: at 6:00 PM, the concelebrated mass, followed by the procession with the venerated image of Our Lady of the Snow, accompanied by the Corbium marching band, confraternities, and municipal authorities through the streets of the historic center. The return to the square was greeted by the symbolic snowfall and the act of consecration. On Sunday, August 3, festive masses were held at the church of Our Lady of the Snow.

Alongside the religious events, Via degli Olmi hosted, as per tradition, exhibitions by artists and artisans, street performances, and food stalls that animate the most heartfelt festival of the Castelli Romani municipality every year.
