Neuroscience Festival

The second edition of the Neuroscience Festival, titled "Brain and Quantum Physics: two giants compared", was held on May 23, 2025, in the setting of Palazzo d'Arnolfo, in San Giovanni Valdarno.

The edition was dedicated to quantum neurobiology, the study of the quantum mechanical properties of the brain. The final day was preceded by two local events: on April 15 in Arezzo, at the Oratorio Madonna del Duomo, and on April 30 in Montevarchi, in the library of the ISIS Varchi.

The proceedings opened at 10:30 AM with a dialogue on the applications of quantum physics to the study of brain functions, moderated by science journalist Luigi Ripamonti. The event, promoted by the Fondazione Gianfranco Salvini and the Clinica di Riabilitazione Toscana, was held under the patronage of the Ministry of University and Research and the Tuscany Region.
