Nebrodi Olive Oil Festival

The Nebrodi Olive Oil Festival was confirmed in the 2025 calendar of events promoted in Mirto as part of the Rocche del Crasto District, confirming the continuity of an event now deeply rooted in the calendar of the Nebrodi village.

The event, traditionally set in December, featured the established formula: conferences dedicated to olive growing and Sicilian oleotourism, educational workshops for schools, photo exhibitions on olive trees and mills, masterclasses on Nebrodi oils, and tastings of typical products, with the Vaddarica cultivar once again taking center stage. The organization was handled by the Municipality of Mirto with the support of the Union of Nebrodi Municipalities and the patronage of the Regional Department of Agriculture.
