Nativity Art Exhibition and Competition

12th edition (2025-2026)

The 12th edition of the Nativity Art Exhibition and Competition enlivened the 2025-2026 Christmas season in San Salvo, in the Province of Chieti. The works in competition were displayed in the spaces of the Porta della Terra Civic Museum, with visits during the holiday period. Registration had opened in autumn via the form on the official website of the Municipality of San Salvo, with delivery of the works by December 6, 2025, for setup.

The nativity scenes were evaluated by the technical jury according to criteria such as scenography, color palette, lighting, construction technique, vegetation, the emotional impact of the Nativity, and the quality of the figures, accompanied by the popular jury of visitors. The awards ceremony for the winners took place in early January 2026, confirming the vitality of this Abruzzo nativity tradition promoted by the Amici del Presepe Association.
