Pramaggiore, in the province of Venice, is the capital of the Lison-Pramaggiore appellation and one of the most important wine hubs in Eastern Veneto. Here, since the post-war period, the National Wine Exhibition has been held, one of the longest-standing and most authoritative events in the Italian landscape, which in 2026 reaches its 80th edition.

A Competition of National Importance

The Exhibition hosts the National Competition for DOCG, DOC, and IGT Wines, authorized by ministerial decree, which evaluates labels from various Italian wine-growing areas. Prestigious awards are at stake: the Golden Lion for the best wine in the competition, the City of Pramaggiore Award, the National Golden Oscar, the National Golden Bacchus, and gold medals by region.
