Edition 2025 — National Tabarrata

The eighth National Tabarrata was held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Lucca, in Piazza Cittadella, in tribute to Giacomo Puccini, author of the opera "Il Tabarro". Tabarristi from all over Italy paraded through the historic center and visited the "Giacomo Puccini Manifesto" exhibition.

The eighth edition of the National Tabarrata chose Lucca as its venue, on the occasion of the celebrations dedicated to Giacomo Puccini, composer of the opera Il Tabarro. The gathering of the tabarristi took place in Piazza Cittadella, in front of the Maestro's birthplace, with the traditional awarding of the tabarristi of the year. Those wearing a tabarro were granted free access to the Giacomo Puccini Manifesto exhibition. The edition was part of the national tour of the Associazione Civiltà del Tabarro, following stops in Parma, Casalmaggiore, Vicenza, Oleggio, Cittadella, Bassano del Grappa, and Chioggia.
