National Moustache, Beard, Goatee and Historical Characters Festival

The third edition of the National Moustache, Beard and Goatee Festival was held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Papillon Disco in Monteroni d'Arbia (Siena), promoted by La Bottega Scuola di Buonconvento.

Contestants from six Italian regions — Lazio, Marche, Piedmont, Puglia, Tuscany, and Umbria — participated in the competition, battling it out in the Natural Beard, Freestyle Beard, Natural Moustache, and Freestyle Goatee categories. The morning was dedicated to pre-registration check-in and professional beard and moustache grooming, while the afternoon featured the competition before a jury of expert barbers, followed by a performance by magician Milco Messi.

The overall champion was Leonardo Pezzolla (Freestyle Beard), awarded 200 euros; other winners included Simone Sinatti (Natural Moustache), Andrea Fiore (Natural Beard), and Aldo Gianfrate (Freestyle Goatee). Prizes, including beard oils and moustache kits, were provided by Bearded B Care.
