National Festival of Youth Theatre

In 2025, the National Festival of Youth Theatre celebrated its 40th edition, an important milestone for the showcase born in 1986 in Marano sul Panaro, in the Province of Modena. The event took place from May 10 to 24, 2025.

The opening ceremony was held on Saturday, May 10, at 8:00 PM at the Teatro di Kia in Marano. Over the two weeks, twenty schools and companies were involved, for a total of 24 performances and over 400 young actors aged between 7 and 20. The shows were mainly held at the Marano theatre, with stops at the Teatro Fabbri in Vignola and the Teatro La Venere in Savignano sul Panaro.

The theme of the special fortieth-anniversary edition was "Youth Theatre", understood not only as a performance space but above all as a place for personal growth, exchange, and sharing. Evening and afternoon performances were free admission until seats were filled.
