Edition 2025 — Festival of Mussels

The 59th National Festival of Mussels took place in Pedaso from August 12 to 15, 2025, attracting around 30,000 visitors over four Ferragosto evenings. Over 200 Pro Loco volunteers served approximately 130 quintals of mussels and 30 quintals of sauce to dress about twenty quintals of spaghetti, amidst live music, shows, and the traditional fireworks finale over the sea.

59th edition — August 2025

The 2025 edition of the National Festival of Mussels, the 59th, enlivened the Pedaso seafront from August 12 to 15, confirming itself as one of the most popular gastronomic events on the Fermo coast with approximately 30,000 visitors in total.

At the stands in the former Platano Verde area, along Via Gramsci, the Pro Loco volunteers—over 200—prepared mussels marinara style, with pepper, gratinated, in risottos and seafood soups, as well as spaghetti marinara with the flat red onion of Pedaso according to the historic recipe. Every evening, on Viale della Repubblica, concerts and shows accompanied the festivities until the grand fireworks finale on Ferragosto.
