Edition 2025 — Natale ad Assisi
Natale ad Assisi 2025 lit up on December 6, with the activation of the lights at 5:00 PM, symbolically from Bethlehem, and continued until January 6, 2026. The visual highlight of the event, the videomapping projected famous contemporary artworks onto the facades of churches and monuments, from Chagall to Magritte, from Klimt to Banksy.
The large exhibition of nativity scenes brought together around 800 nativities from around the world, displayed in three venues (including Palazzo Monte Frumentario, Galleria Le Logge, and Palazzo del Capitano del Perdono), featuring an impressive 8-meter-long Sicilian nativity scene by Angela Tripi. There were also living nativity scenes in the hamlets (Armenzano, Petrignano, Tordandrea) with free shuttle buses, the medieval music festival 'DeMusicAssisi Winter Edition', the Christmas train, street artists, and New Year's Eve and Epiphany celebrations.
